University: University level projects have included both web-based and CD-ROM based courses. Products have been created for traditional and distance learning programs. Sample projects include Nursing Health Assessment, Population Focused Care Management, CAD(Computer Aided Design), Introduction to Law Enforcement, Criminology, Introduction to the Internet For Teachers, Distance Learning: An Educator's Approach, and Late Life Depression.
High School Technology Lab: Developed and implemented twenty (20) independent study technology modules in a networked environment. Each module consisted of a CBT core supported by guidelines, testing, video tapes, and hands on activities. Pre and post testing measured mastery of the topic. Students worked as independent teams to accomplish the prescribed outcomes. Topics covered include hydraulics, pneumatics, solar energy, auto mechanics, interior design, computer basics, computer aided design, audio production, desktop publishing, and physics.
Alternative Education: Developed and implemented stand alone modules for alternative high school education. This application provided a unique alternative academic experience in which students combined CBT with a work experience program. Academic objectives were developed in coordination with the employer providing credit for individual work related tasks. CBT modules provided included Business Letter writing, Desk Top Publishing, Multimedia Presentation Generation, Introduction to the Internet, Resume Writing, and Career Development Skills. Modules were developed and implemented in seven (7) alternative schools.
Adult Education: Developed and implemented adult worker retraining modules. Modules were provided to allow workers to obtain training at their own time and at their own pace. Modules were distributed to and maintained by libraries to provide students from a diverse population to avail themselves of the learning opportunity. Module topics included; Job Search Techniques, Resume writing, Business Letter Writing, Wardrobes For Work.
